Gene Tyndall is a globally recognized authority on supply chain management, strategy, and finance. He is a co-founder of eMATE Consulting and also serves as the leader of the Supply Chain Strategy Service at Tompkins Ventures.
Gene was formerly an EVP for Strategy and Solutions at Tompkins International. Prior to that he served as President of Ryder Global Supply Chain Solutions, and as a Senior Partner and Leader of the Ernst & Young Global Supply Chain Management Consulting Practice. He was a U.S. Navy Officer for five years to begin his career in Supply Chain/Logistics.
Throughout his impressive career, Gene has led strategic consulting services for leading multinational corporations in several industries, especially Consumer and Electronic Products, Medical and Pharmaceuticals, Automotive, and Retail. He has developed and applied innovative methods for supply chain strategy and its financial impacts and contributions.
Gene has co-authored five (5) books and multiple articles; is an influential speaker; and was awarded the Global Logistics and Innovation Person of the Year by leading organizations. He holds D.B.A., M.B.A. and B.S. degrees from The George Washington University and the University of Maryland.
